The Persian Alphabet has 32 Letters

In the column to your right is the Persian alphabet with its 32 letters all in a row (hey! where did it go?). You may notice a discrepancy between the letters in a chart and the letters in Persian words. That’s because Persian is a semi-cursive script and the letters take different forms depending on where they are in a word.
